5年3組

みなさん、おはようございます。4年3組担任のN.M.です。今日は皆さんに漢字のクイズをやってもらいたいと思います。1年生のみなさんには難しいかもしれませんが、一緒に考えてみてください。
それでは第1問です。□の中に入る漢字は何でしょう？　矢印の方向に呼んでみてください。なお、答えは1年生で習う漢字です。それでは30秒間考えてみてください。
はい、30秒経ちました。正解は「本」という漢字でした。日本、見本、本心、本音。ちょっと難しかったかな？
第2問です。これも1年生で習う漢字が答えになります。30秒考えてみてください。答えはこの字でした。見学、入学、学生、学校。
第3問です。30秒考えてみてください。分かりましたか。答えは、車という時でした。水車、下車、車体、車道と読みます。
いかがでしたか。慣れないと、ちょっと難しいかもしれません。これから雨が降って外遊びができない時にやってみてはどうかなと思い紹介しました。それでは今週も元気に過ごしてください。

Good morning, everyone! I'm N.M., the homeroom teacher of 4-3. Today I will give you some Chinese Character Quizzes. It may be difficult for the first graders. Let's think about it together.
Question No. 1: What Chinese character goes in the square? Follow the arrows. The answer is a character the first graders will learn. So, you'll have 30 seconds to think. OK, thirty seconds have passed. The answer is "本." Nihon(Japan), mihon(sample), honshin(real intention), honne(real motive). Was it a little bit difficult?
Question No.2: This character is the one the first graders will learn, too. I'll give you thirty seconds to think. The answer is "学."　Kengaku(observation), nyugaku(entering school), gakusei(student), gakko(school).
Question No. 3: You have thirty seconds to think. Did you get it? The answer is "車."　Suisha(water turbine), gesha(getting off), shatai(the body of a car), shado(driveway).
Did you enjoy the quizzes? I guess it was challenging for you. I gave them to you because you can enjoy those quizzes in the classrooms during the rainy season. So, stay healthy this week, too!

4年3組

おはようございます。6年1組のH.D.です。
早速ですが、こちらの写真を見てください。何をしていると思いますか。知っている、見たことあると言う人は、心の中でそっと教えてください。そう、これは、三吾小の校庭に掲げられている、校章旗を揚げているところなのです。6年生の当番が、みんなが登校する時間に合わせて旗を揚げ、帰る頃に旗を降ろしています。6年生は、これを毎日交代でやっているんですよ。
場面が変わって、これは委員会活動の様子です。委員会活動では、6年生の委員長を中心に活動しています。こちらはクラブ活動の様子です。クラブ活動も6年生のクラブ長を中心に活動しています。委員会やクラブが正しく活動されることで、三吾小の毎日はより楽しいものになります。
このように6年生は、第三吾嬬小学校のために、そして1年生から5年生までのみなさんのために、いろいろな仕事をしています。そして、この仕事というのは、1年生から5年生までの皆さんにも必ず順番がやって来ます。今の6年生がやっていることをよく見て、少しでも自分が6年生になったときに思い出してくれればいいなと私は思っています。

Good morning. I'm H.D. of 6-1.
OK, I want to show you a picture. Look at this. What do you think they are doing? If you know or have seen this, please tell me inside your heart. Yes, they are running our school flag up the flagpole on the school ground. The sixth graders alternately do this every day when you come to school, and they pull it down when you go home.
(Another video) This is a scene of a regular committee activity. Every committee has a chairperson from the 6th grade, who manages the committee. (Another video) This is a scene of a club activity. Every club has a leader from the 6th grade, too. They manage a committee and club well, so our school life becomes fun and comfortable.
Like these, the sixth graders work for the school and all the students. Your turn will come someday. Watch what the sixth graders do now, and I want you to remember it when you become a sixth-grade student.

先生：皆さん、おはようございます。5年1組担任のNです。
児童：5年1組のNです。
先生：そうなんです。私たちは同じ名字なんです。
児童：偶然ですね。
先生：そこで今日は、名字についてお話ししたいと思います。
児童：おもしろそうですね！
二人：おもしろい名字の話、スタート！

大昔、名前に名字が付いている人はとても少なかったそうです。しかし、今から150年ほど前の明治時代に、名字を必ずつけなければならないと言う決まりを作ったことで、一気に名字の種類が増えたようです。さて、ここで問題です。今では、だいたいどれくらいの種類の名字があると思いますか？　1，2000種類　2，20000種類　3，200000種類。正解は3の20万種類あると言われています。それほど多くの種類になったのは、名字がいろいろなことから作られているからです。例えば、「山田」、「森」、「池田」などの名字は、自然や風景からつけられています。そして、「三浦」や「千葉」などの名字は、土地の名前からつけられている。更に、｢服部」や「鍛冶」などの名字は、職業からつけられているものもあります。名字には様々な意味や歴史があるんですね。
名字には様々な種類がありますが、先程の｢野口」のように、同じ名字を使っていることもよくありますね。そこで問題です。次のうち、日本で一番多い名字はどれでしょう。1，佐藤　2，鈴木　3，高橋。正解は、1位佐藤、2位鈴木、3位高橋でした。日本で多い名字のトップ10は次の通りです。1位佐藤、2位鈴木、3位高橋、4位田中、5位伊藤、6位渡辺、7位山本、8位中村、9位小林、10位加藤。多い名字とは逆に、とても少なく、珍しい名字もあります。こんな名字もあります。「努力さん」さてなんと読むのでしょう？　「どりょく」ではなく、「ぬりき」と読むそうです。次にこれは誰さんでしょう？「左衛門三郎さん」読める人もいるかもしれませんね。「さえもんさぶろう」と読むそうです。これだけで名前みたいですね。今紹介した珍しい名字は、日本全国にたった10人しかいないそうです。なかなか出会えないですね。

先生：さあ、名字の話おもしろかったですか？
児童：自分の名字にどんな歴史があるのか知りたくなりました。
先生：皆さん、一人一人の名前、これからも大切にしてくださいね。それでは、これで朝会のお話を終わります。

Long ago, few people had family names in Japan. However, during the Meiji Period, about 150 years ago, the government ruled that everyone must have a family name. That's how family names started increasing instantly. Now I'll give you a quiz. How many family names are there in Japan now? No.1 About 2,000. No.2 About 20,000. No.3 About 200,000. The answer is... No.3! Why do we have so many family names now? That's because family names were made from many things. For example, names like "Yamada," "Mori," and "Ikeda" were taken from nature and scenery. Names like "Miura" and "Chiba" came from the name of the lands. Also, names like "Hattori" and "Kaji" came from people's occupations. Family names have a variety of meanings and histories. Here's another quiz. Which of these three family names are the most in Japan? No.1 Sato. No.2 Suzuki. No.3 Takahashi. The answer is No.1 Sato, No.2 Suzuki, and No.3 Takahashi. Here is the list of the most common family names in Japan.

On the contrary, some family names are very few and peculiar. Here're some examples. How do you read this name? "努力" It's not "Doryoku," but "Nuriki." What about this? "左衛門三郎" It's "Saemonsaburo." It's like a full name, isn't it? Only ten people have those names in Japan. We can seldom meet them.

　皆さん、おはようございます。今日は、副校長先生から、世界で一番大きな花についてお話しします。
　皆さん、世界で一番大きな花の名前知っていますか？　答えは「ラフレシア」という花で、東南アジアに咲く花です。この花は、一度咲いたら7日間で枯れてしまうことから、幻の花とも言われています。その大きさは1m以上になると言われていますが、皆さん、想像できますか？　（実物大の写真を提示）これが実際のラフレシアと同じ大きさになります。1年生の子たちよりも大きいかもしれませんね！　世界には20万種類の花が咲くと言われています。暖かい今の時期、皆さんもぜひ、身の回りでどのような花が咲いているのか探してみてください。
　今日は、副校長先生から、世界で一番大きな花、ラフレシアについてお話ししました。これでお話を終わります。

Good morning, everyone! Today I will talk about the largest flower in the world.
Do you know the name of the largest flower in the world? The answer is "rafflesia," which blooms in Southeast Asia. This flower is called a 'phantom flower,' too because it blooms for only seven days. The flower is over one meter large. Can you imagine that? (Showed a life-sized picture) This is how big the rafflesia is! It's even bigger than a first-grade student!
More than 200,000 kinds of flowers bloom in the world. Why don't you go out and look for flowers around you in the warm season like this?
